All this talk of terrariums lately got me thinking of Bonsai. Contrary to advice discovered later, I'm starting off with a new tree. This is a very young Ficus from a 3-inch pot found at the corner drug store. At this age, it really shouldn't be in an actual Bonsai pot, but I really liked the glaze on this one. Plus, the pot is way too big for the tree in the Bonsai sense. A regular 4- or 6- inch pot wouldn't be much bigger. I'm using regular potting soil so hopefully it'll grow just fine.
